Spring Season Program Details
Schedules
The MYS Spring 2027 Recreation league will begin the week of March 29 with the first games played on April 3. Each U5-U19 team has one practice and one game per week.

U5–U10 teams will play in a "House League" (MYS teams only).

U11–U19 teams will play in the National Capital Soccer League – Recreation (NCSL Rec) against local clubs within the Northern VA and Washington D.C. area.

All U6–U10 House League games and the U3–U5 program will be hosted on Saturday mornings or early afternoons on fields near Spring Hill Recreation Center. All NCSL Rec home games will be on fields in McLean, typically on Saturdays, but the league schedule and any rescheduling may result in an occasional Sunday game. NCSL away games can be played outside of McLean and Fairfax county.
Registration and Fees
Players who want to guarantee they return to their team from the Fall 2026 season need to register before March 1 and indicate during the PlayMetrics registration process that they would like to return to their team.

The MYS recreation staff strives to accept all players interested in joining the club. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable requests for team placement and practices, however we cannot guarantee requests.Â

The MYS Recreation program does not permit travel program players (Travel team or U8 Juniors players) to participate at the recreation level.

Players who are registering for the Spring 2027 season must pay BEFORE being assigned to a team.
