Wearing one hat, he serves as associate executive director of McLean (Virginia) Youth Soccer. Wearing another, he is the creator of Get on the Bus. Since 2017, has broken down transportation and financial barriers, so boys and girls in suburban Washington can play recreational soccer. The free after-school program also teaches valuable life skills, and good study habits.

MYS is proud to announce that it has been accepted into the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) for the 2024 season. The WPSL returns for its 26th season and is the longest-active women’s soccer league in the U.S. with more than 140 clubs nationwide in 32 states across the county.

MYS is excited to announce our new Programs Director Michael Newhall. Michael grew up in the Northern Virginia area and played youth soccer before playing at the collegiate level.

Fairfax Virginia soccer clubs unite to advance youth development and competition. Braddock Road Youth Club (BRYC), McLean Youth Soccer Club (MYS), and Vienna Youth Soccer (VYS) are the founding clubs in launching a new club, Fairfax Virginia Union. The new club will be equally governed by the founding clubs.

MYS is partnering with Total Futbol (TF) Camps to provide travel players with summer residential camp options in Deep Creek, MD.
