Clyde Watson - Technical Director

With more than 28 years of professional coaching experience, Clyde Watson is a familiar figure in D.C. area soccer. A prominent member of the Guyana Men's National Team for more than 10 years, Watson graduated from Clemson University, where he was All ACC all four years. Watson served as assistant coach of the Washington Warthogs, Coach of the University of the District of Columbia, and as assistant coach of the WPS's Washington Freedom from 2001-2010. Clyde is one of six members of the ECNL Standards Committee, which is developing minimum standards regarding training frequency, coach licensing, facilities and administration/structure for member clubs and coaches within the ECNL. Clyde was named NSCAA 2007 Youth Girls National Coach of the Year, USYS 2011 Region I Girls Competitive Coach of the Year, and VYSA 2011 Virginia Girls Competitive Coach of the Year. He was also named 1998 Boys Youth Virginia Coach of the Year. He has coached teams to 13 USYS Virginia State Cups, three USYS Region I Championship titles, a USYS National Finalist title (2011, McLean MPS Strikers), and the coveted USYS National Championship title (2007, McLean MPS Freedom). Clyde holds a USSF "B" License, a UEFA "A", NSCAA Director of Coaching Diploma, and a National Youth License.

Keith Tabatznik - Director of Soccer

Keith currently serves as the US Youth Soccer Region I Olympic Development Program Head Coach, a position he has held for 6 years after serving as assistant coach for 3 years. Earlier in his career, Keith guided the Georgetown University men's soccer team to national prominence during 22 years as head coach, finishing with 220 wins under his belt. Keith is Georgetown's all-time winningest soccer coach and ended amongst the top 35 active collegiate coaches in wins. Twelve Hoyas players who played for Tabatznik were placed in the professional ranks. Keith has served as an analyst on Fox Soccer Channel for the NSCAA college games of the week as well as guest commentator for Comcast Sports and DC United pre- and post-game shows. He holds a USSF "A" Coaching License and serves as a member of the United States National Coaching Education Staff, and in 2011 he was inducted into the Virginia/DC Soccer Hall of Fame. Keith grew up in Baltimore and had a very successful career playing collegiate soccer at American University.

Jaime Moreno - Player Development Director

A product of Bolivia's Tahuichi Academy, Coach Moreno enjoyed an outstanding career in the MLS, where he was the all-time leading scorer. Moreno began his career at Club Blooming. He also played for Independiente Santa Fe (Colombia) and Middlesborough (England). In the MLS, he played with D.C. United helping to lead them to MLS Cup in 1996, 1997, 1999 and 2004, and winning the MLS Cup MVP in 1997. From 1991-2008, he played for the Bolivia national team.

Jamil Faryadi - U08 - U12 Boys Age Group Director and Programs Director

Jaon Ahmad - U08 - U12 Girls Age Group Director

License: USSF B, NSCAA National Youth Diploma, USSF National Youth LicensePlaying Experience: Making the District and State ODP teams. Captain of the ODP team.Coaching Experience: Launched several successful teams from the U9 level including the '00 Hotspur before being selected to build the Juniors program from the ground up.

Jamil Walker - U13 - U18 Boys Age Group Director

Jamil has been a member of the MYS coaching staff since 2008 with a proven record of excellence in the club and beyond. Jamil played collegiately at Santa Clara University and upon graduation, was drafted by the San Jose Earthquakes in the 2003 MLS SuperDraft. In 2005, Jamil was traded to DC United where he played until 2007. Jamil's success with the MYS Hotspur includes 3x US Youth Soccer National Championship appearances (2015, 2016, 2017) capturing the title of Champions in 2016 as well as several USYS Regional appearances and State Cup Champion titles. In 2014, Jamil was honored by the NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches of America) as the Youth Boys Coach of the Year. Jamil holds a US Soccer A coaching license.

Cindi Harkes - U13 - U18 Girls Age Group Director

A Northern Virginia native, Cindi played club soccer for BRYC where her team won the U16 Regional/National title. She played locally at W.T. Woodson HS, where she was a four time, first team All-Met selection. She attended the University of Virginia where she earned All-ACC and Academic All-America honors and reached the Final Four in 1991. She was a member of the U19 US Youth National Team. After college, Cindi resided in England where she continued her playing career with Sheffield Wednesday Ladies and Ilkeston Town Rangers who reached the semi-finals of the prestigious FA Cup. She was also a starting forward for the Inaugural W League Champions the Maryland Pride. Upon Cindi's return to the states, she transitioned into coaching where she has been plying her trade for the past 15 years successfully coaching both boys and girls programs at every level, including DC United women before joining the Washington Spirit. She currently serves as the Age Group Director for Girls ages U13-U18 as well as coaching both ECNL and CCL teams. Cindi was inducted into WT Woodson's Hall of Fame in 2013 and VA/DC's Soccer Hall of Fame in 2008. She holds a USSF 'C' license.
