All three McLean MPS 96B Fire teams reached their championship games at the Beach FC Columbus Day tournament in Virginia Beach.

The Green team capped an unbeaten and untied weekend with a 3-0 victory over the Severna Park Fever. Overall, the Green team outscored its opponents 22-4, including two clean sheets in the final two games.

The White was also undefeated heading into a championship game that saw them battle to a 2-2 draw at the end of regulation against a PWSI Courage team. The game proceeded through two scoreless overtimes and was decided in PKs, with the White team putting more in the net than their opponents.

Unfortunately, a strong Stafford Strikers team prevented the Gold team from making it a complete McLean age group sweep.
