Spring Hill Lower and Chesterbrook Use Policy Change

Goals are no longer available for practices
For all teams practicing at Spring Hill Elementary Lower Field and Chesterbrooks, effective immediately, Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) has required MYS to lock up the goals on these fields during the week. Your teams may continue to practice during your assigned practice slot, however, goals will not be available for your use.
MYS Fields is working to try to identify other goal options, but in the meantime, we recommend you use cones or pugg goals as necessary for your practices.
On the positive side of keeping our fields Green, this may be a good opportunity for all teams to relocate and re-orient their practices away from the goal mouths to allow these areas to rest and grow grass.
We apologize for any incovenience, but this decision was made by FCPS and one MYS must adhere to if we want to maintain our permits to use these fields, including on the weekends. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
