We are four teams of U10 girls who love playing soccer! 
Green and White play in WAGS and Gold and Silver play in ODSL. 

 
     McLean Premier Soccer (MPS) is looking for enthusiastic young soccer players born on or after August 1, 1999 who share our passion for playing soccer and developing skills while still having fun!  MPS has four teams in the rising U11 Girls age group, two of which play in WAGS and two of which play in ODSL.  

     The MPS program provides excellent year-round training opportunities, including competition in WAGS or ODSL, indoor soccer or futsal leagues, competitive tournaments, as well as high quality training and summer/winter camps.  
 
     The rising U11 girls are overseen by Marcelo Valencia, the U9-U11 Age Group Coordinator.  Marcelo is a USSF B licensed coach with a NSCAA Premier License as well as a NSCAA National Youth License, with more than 10 years of coaching experience, as well as collegiate and professional playing experience.  The program is designed to develop strong technical skills, good sportsmanship, and a composed team-style of play, while keeping the environment fun.

Tryout Schedule:

• Monday, June 7th and 14th, Lewinsville Center, 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm
   
• Friday, June 11th and 18th, Spring Hill Recreation Center #2, 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm

NOTE:  The tryout on Friday, June 18th has been cancelled. 

What should your daughter bring to tryouts?

• Wear a white t-shirt (current Real team members should wear their white game jerseys). 
  
  NOTE: We will be using permanent markers to write numbers on the tee shirts.  These shirts are to be worn each tryout so that we may identify the child.
   
• Water (make sure to bring a sufficient amount since it will be hot and the tryouts will last 90 minutes).
   
• Shin Guards. Any player without them will NOT be able to participate in the tryouts.
   
• A well-pumped, size 4 ball. 

     Please attend as many sessions as possible, as the more times the coaches see your daughter the better.  Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of tryouts to ensure that your daughter is registered and receives her player number.

Congratulations to the girls on both the Green and White teams for winning a WAGS Sportsmanship Award for the Fall 2009 season. 

The award is given to teams that demonstrate superior sportsmanship at the field on the part of coaches, players and parents.  The WAGS award is particularly meaningful because teams are nominated by their peers, and reflect the Real players' commitment to fair play and the integrity of the game.
