General Dates to Remember

Summer June - August Tryouts
League Registration
VYSA and Club Registration
Finalize Team Roster
Fall September – November League Games and tournaments
Winter December – February Winter training and indoor leagues
Club Registration
Roster changes (adds, releases, transfers)
Spring March - June League Games and tournaments

Registration Support

 The travel team manager works with the team and other organizations to provide support for the various levels of registration required of a travel soccer team:

State Association (VYSA)

  • Work with club rep and registrar
  • Familiarize yourself with vysa.com registration system
  • Create team’s official roster and player passes
  • Add, transfer and release players as requested by coach and/or players
  • For initial registration, collect birth documentation

League Registration (NCSL, WAGS, or ODSL)

  • Club Rep handles team registration with the league
  • Club Rep will communicate with manager aboug league registration.
  • Managers attend pre-season meetings as required by leagues
