The MPS Thunder is coached by Matt Pilkington, a former captain of the George Washington University mens soccer team. Matt trained extensively with Bury FC, a Division 1 Club in England. Matt holds an English F.A. coaching license and U.S.S.F. A license. In addition to coaching the Thunder, Matt is a D.C. United Academy and Super-Y Coach. During 2007, Matt was a Region 1 ODP Staff member.
