The MPS Challengers-Green '96 Girls are playing in their third year of WAGS. As they begin the Spring 2009 season, their cumulative league record is 32 wins, 4 losses and 9 draws. They have been placed in WAGS Division 2.
The team also competed in the top divisions of several of the most
competitive tournaments on the East Coast, bringing home finalist
awards in the Jefferson Cup (March 2008), the Potomac Memorial
Tournament (May 2008), the Cardinal Cup (August 2008), the OBGC
Capital Cup (September 2007), and the USFF Northeast Regional
Championships (February 2007), and were champions at the Dulles
National Tournament (August 2006) and the USFF Northeast Regional
Championships (February 2008).
Along the way, the team has played regularly against many of the
strongest teams in the country, including six teams that as of August
2008 were ranked among the top ten teams in the United States.
