MYS/MPS College Support Program

MYS is proud to provide a number of programs outside the normal realm of training, competition, and soccer related activities. One of those programs is our College Advisory Program. This program is run by Clyde Watson, Technical Director for MYS/MPS and is available to MYS members (boys and girls) on U15 to U18 teams.

Our program is set up to serve the college bound player in a number of different areas. Starting with the freshman year of high school and continuing through their senior year. Please read the presentation below for general background on such areas as:

· Recruiting
· College Contact Preparation
· ACT/SAT Guide
· College Research Assistance

To support this program, MYS has created a strategic partnership with “The Sport Source®”  and each Fall we schedule a seminar that includes an information session and guests including Charlie Kadupski, the company founder and leading expert in college programs, as well as a variety of local coaches.

In addition, each team should work with their Coach, AGD and our Technical Director Support to ensure the appropriate support programs are in place for each individual player.

MYS provides a number of resources to help support our College Advisory Program.

Each team receives a free, template driven website that they can manage directly through our simple content management system.  Please contact traveladmin@mcleansoccer.org for access.
