The referee committee is looking for teenagers (age 13 and older) and adults to become certified referees for MYS in the spring. We had several weekends last fall where we were short referees for all ages and are hoping to increase our pool of available referees. Classes are given around the northern Virginia area and all courses will qualify you to referee for MYS, as well as other leagues playing in McLean. We are recommending the Level 8 certification, as opposed to the level 9 course, in order to allow more game opportunities.
The McLean classes will be held in February with dates and times being posted as soon as the location and instructors are confirmed.
