Each year MYS Recreation fields teams for All-Stars (U8 to U19).  MYS teams typically participate in the following tournaments.

Fall: Herndon All-Star Cup

Spring: Father Day All-Star Tournament.

The MYS All Star program is an extension of the Recreational (House League) program, and provides children with an opportunity to play at a more competitive level. 

The two All Star tournaments in which MYS currently participates are the Thanksgiving and Father's Day tournaments. Other All Star opportunities should be brought to the attention of the Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner in a timely manner.

All currently registered MYS recreational players are eligible to play if selected. Tournaments Directors exclude carded Travel Players from participation in these recreation-oriented tournaments. It is MYS' policy to require full and open tryouts for eligible players who are interested in an All-Star tournament experience.

To assist in this process,  the Recreation Commissioner currently acts as liaison between the various teams and the tournament Directors, with responsibility for registering all MYS teams with the tournament, dealing with the official paperwork, purchasing uniforms, collecting fees due to MYS, and all communications with the tournaments
