McLean Youth Soccer Announces 2nd Annual McLean Premier Soccer Tournament

McLean Youth Soccer, adidas and VW are pleased to announce the Spring Small-Sided Matches of the 2nd Annual McLean Premier Soccer Tournament will be held over two weekends in March 2012.

Building on the success of our three tournament weekends in 2011,  MYS remains committed to the vision that this tournament will quickly become a prominent fixture on the travel schedules for elite teams throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.

The Spring 2012 Matches will welcome elite and premier level travel teams from age groups U9 – U12.  In order to ensure that all matches can be played, MYS has selected to host the event on all-weather, synthetic turf fields in McLean and nearby communities.  In 2012, we look forward to being able to welcome a specially created age group for select U8 "pre-travel" player development programs.

The tournament has been created with an eye toward ensuring elite levels of play at all age groups, reflected in our commitment to providing top quality fields, competition, referees, and organization. The size of the tournament will be limited to ensure that the most competitive brackets can be created and to create the highest possible level of access to tournament play of all-weather fields. The historic and highly attractive National Capital Region will ensure an unforgettable experience for visiting teams.
