MYS Fall 2010 Schedule for the Recreation Program

Coaches will be notifying their families by email after Labor Day to let them know which team their child is on and what day of the week they will have practice, beginning the week of September 13.

F License Modules – Coach Training

Saturday, September 11

Time:  8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

U5 Soccer

• MYS’ Program for children who will be entering Pre-K in the Fall
• No weekly practices; sessions on Saturday morning only at 9, 10 or 11 AM
• Sessions run by our professional staff
• Sessions will be held on Sept 18, 25; October 2, 16, 23, 30; November 6

U6 thru U11 Age Groups

• Practices for all teams will begin the week of September 13
• Parent volunteer coaches will provide practice and game schedules to the families on their teams.

Fall Season Game Dates

September 18, 25

·         September 18: U6 will not have games, but Parent/Child Sessions with our professional staff.  Coaches will provide schedule to their families.

October 2, 16, 23 and 30 (no Games October 9-Columbus Day Weekend)

·         Saturday, October 2 will be Picture Day for U6 thru U11 Teams

November 6, 13

·         November 13

o        Last Game Day for U6 thru U9

·         November 13 and November 14

o        U10 and U11 teams will participate in a Round Robin Tournament

o        Trophies will be awarded to Champion and Runner Up teams in each Division.

SFL AGE Groups (U12 and older)

• Teams may begin practice the week of September 6
• Games begin the weekend of September 11
• SFL teams have one game per week, Saturday or Sunday
