The MPS Power went undefeated in claiming the U14 girls Richmond Kickers Invitational, scoring 8 goals over three matches while yielding only 2.  The Power defeated the Beach FC Pirahnas (4-1), the host 2008 U14G VCCL Champion Richmond Kickers Elite (1-0) and the SOCA Express of Charlottesville (3-1).  The Kickers put on a great tournament, and all the matches ran smoothly.  The Power coaching staff used the opportunity to explore some different tactical alternatives, and to start to prepare the team for a Spring campaign that will see the Power face some of the very best of the best at the Arlington Spring Invitational, the PDA Spring Kickoff, Virginia State Cup and WAGS U15 Division 1 play (where the Power will be playing up a year).  Thank you Kickers for a fantastic weekend; the Power are looking forward to doing it again in 2010.
