The McLean MPS Power was awarded the Fall 2008 WAGS Sportsmanship award, for its on-field and sideline sportsmanship during the WAGS 2008 Fall season.  The Power's competitors over the Fall 2008 season nominated the Power for the award.  Making the award all the more impressive and significant, is the fact that the Power earned the respect of its competitors while winning the division championship by a wide point margin, going undefeated, and establishing a positive goal margin that was the highest among the top 4 divisions of WAGS.  The Power's players played hard and fair all season, understanding all the way the importance of winning and losing with dignity and respect for their opponent.  The Power players, its coaches (Jamil Faryadi, Clyde Watson and Kris Ward) and the Power families should all be very proud.  All the teams in the Power's WAGS division in the Fall of 2008 are special teams with special players.  The Power looks forward to meeting up with each of them in the future.
