MYS Travel/MPS Coaches & Managers Meeting with MYS Board and Travel Directors
  • 7:00pm-9:00pm
  • McLean Community Center
  • You are invited to attend a meeting May 14th at 7pm at the McLean Community Center to discuss our new registration process that will start in June. We would like all team managers (or treasurer if manager is not available) as well as all coaches to attend. The registration process, the coaching compensation method and a field update will be given. The presentation and questions should not take more than one hour but this information is critical to eliminate confusion with team formations and registration for all leagues in the fall 2008.

MYS Member Town Hall Meeting
  • 7:00pm-9:00pm
  • McLean Community Center
  • One of my goals as Chairman of the club is to improve the communication of information that is important to our members. To this end, I issued the club's first, but not last, State of the Club, and Holley Darden has joined the MYS Board as our Director of Communications. However, there are a lot of changes taking place in the club and email does not always provide opportunities to ask questions, offer feedback, or engage in a discussion. Therefore, we are having a town hall meeting on May 19th at 7:00 PM at theMcLean Community Center and invite you to attend and learn more about our club in an interactive setting. Topics that we will cover are: * New MYS web site * Update on the Field Initiative * Changes to the registration system and fee structure * Introduction of our new Technical Director and Assistant Technical Director * Restructuring of our relationship with the professional coaching staff * Where we see the club heading over the next 5 years * Whatever is on your mind I hope you will take the time out of your schedule to join us. Michael Riemer Chairman, MYS
